Description
PRM150 hydraulic marine gearbox for recreational boats and light professional use with 1.5:1 ratio.
The gearbox's symmetrical drive shafting and friction clutches both forward and aft allow the gearbox to be used in forward driving with both right and left hand propellers. This makes the gearbox ideal for twin-engine installations.
The hydraulically operated gearbox uses engine oil instead of hydraulic oil and therefore reacts quickly and smoothly to changes in direction. The aluminium shell of the gearbox is designed to be lightweight but durable.
The gearbox is reliable, but in the event of a hydraulic failure, the gearbox has a mechanical locking option, allowing the gearbox to be driven to port.
Mounting on propeller shaft H4 with a fixed flange.
Weight (dry) 21 kg (does not include SAE adapter plate for engine mounting or drive plate).
The SAE plate is selected according to the engine mounting and the drive plate according to the mounting plate/flywheel mounting on an engine-specific basis. The price of the gearbox does not include the SAE plate, oil heat exchanger, hoses or drive plate.
