Racor Marine Fuel Filter Water Separator Turbine Series is the most reliable fuel filter water separator on the market. The filter features a three-stage filtration system that effectively removes water and particulates from fuel, providing maximum protection for diesel engine components in marine applications where reliability is critical.
The filter features Racor's proprietary Aquabloc® filter element. The Aquabloc® filter material is water and rust resistant and captures contaminants while a specially treated surface separates and melts water from the fuel, causing the water to collect in large droplets that then fall into a clear collection container.
- Removes water that enters the system through condensation in the fuel tank. Any water in the fuel stream supports bacterial growth, which can cause filter clogging and the formation of corrosive acids. Then sensitive components rust and corrode, leading to wear and tear on critical parts of the fuel system.
- Removes hard particles in the air during refuelling, such as sand and silica.
- Removes soft contaminants from overheated and decomposing diesel fuel that coat filters with a black asphaltene-like substance, leading to power loss and engine stall.
- Prevents costly injection damage and extends the life of downstream filters.
- Saves time and money by eliminating unscheduled maintenance and unplanned downtime due to system component failures.
- With the Racor 75 DUAL filter, simply turning the valve turns on a clean filter. Maintenance of a clogged filter can then be performed while the engine is running.
