Prm 125D2 is a mechanically lightweight, compact and durable marine gearbox for small marine engines. The PRM125 transmission is designed for use in recreational boats where a simple lightweight transmission is required.
Both forward and reverse cone clutches are mechanically operated and require no adjustment. The gearbox is designed for use with standard wind turbines. For forward drive, the output shaft rotates clockwise, and a clockwise (RH - right hand) propeller should be used with the gearbox.
Forward gear ratio is 2.04:1 (reverse gear ratio is 2.44:1). Forward, freewheel and reverse directional control is by lever.
The gearbox housing is ribbed on the outside for strength and heat dissipation, so it does not require an oil cooler.
