Remote control cable for engine gear and throttle, manufactured by Sea Star. The cable is made of corrosion-resistant materials for marine conditions.
TFXtreme control cables are an excellent option for boats with two control positions and boats where very long cables are required - and of course for all boats where comfort is a priority.
Thanks to its new unique design, the TFXtreme control cable has very low clearance and friction. The cable has a minimum bending radius of only 10.2 cm, significantly less than conventional cables (15.3 cm).
The cable is unprecedented in its efficiency. The difference to traditional control cables is immediately apparent when you move the control handle. Moving the handle is lighter and the movement is more precise.
Management cable length
The length of the control cable is measured from the tip of the cable to the tip. The length of the control cable is expressed either in metres or in feet. Metre cables are usually supplied in 25 cm increments and foot cables in feet (30,48 cm).
Installation of the management cable
Choose the shortest possible route for the control cable and avoid unnecessary bends. Large and frequent bends reduce the cable's efficiency, i.e. increase both resistance and resistance.
