Description
The Lombardini LMG6000 aggregate is designed to operate at higher operating angles and high temperatures.
The lightweight and quiet aggregate is easy to maintain. All common service points are located on one side of the aggregate, so only one half of the sound insulation box needs to be opened for service.
The 4-stroke, 1-cylinder Lombardini L15440 442 cm³ 7.4 kW diesel engine is used as the prime mover.
Cooling is achieved by a combined water/air cooling system: sea water cools the engine's fresh water, the outer walls of the oil and the generator section and the intake air through a specially designed cooling circuit.
The engine is equipped with an automatic stop if the oil pressure drops too low or if the temperature rises above the permissible limit.
