Description
The Lombardini LMG18000 aggregate is also designed to operate at a higher angle, for example when sailing. The maximum longitudinal or transverse inclination of the aggregate is 25° and up to 30° at times.
The lightweight and quiet aggregate is easy to maintain. All general service points are located on one side of the aggregate, so only one side of the sound insulation box needs to be opened for service.
The main engine is a 4-stroke 2-cylinder Lombardini LDW1404MG 1328 cm³ FOCS diesel engine.
The aggregate is fully water cooled by means of a heat exchanger. The cooling system uses seawater to cool the engine's fresh water, the oil and the outer walls of the generator section through a specially designed cooling circuit.
The unit is equipped with an automatic shutdown in case the oil pressure drops too low or the temperature rises above the permissible limit.
