The S8 propeller is suitable for semi-planing and planing boats up to 18 - 30 kn, where very good performance and maneuverability are desired. Thanks to the design of the propeller blades and the 75% blade area ratio (DAR), the propeller performance is excellent.
This High Skew propeller is quiet in use and the vibrations it causes to the hull and e.g. the rudder are usually smaller than a standard propeller. The material is manganese bronze (MnBr). Models made from the more durable NiBr-Al material (nickel aluminium bronze) are also available on special order.
Before ordering the propeller, check the rotation (RH or LH) of the propeller and the cone size of the propeller shaft.
