Delivery terms (for private trade)

General information

Mepratuote Oy (Business ID: 2735806-1) sells products to companies and individuals in the EU. These terms of delivery apply to orders placed in our online shop.

Delivery method

Delivery prices depend on the weight, size and delivery method of the shipment. When ordering products from the online shop, the delivery charges for the products ordered will be visible when you proceed to the checkout of your shopping cart before payment. We do not deliver by PostNord or Parcel Post for shipments over 30 kg. Large and heavy parcels are delivered by DB Schenker freight service.

Pick up from the store

For all online orders, you can choose to have your order picked up from the store. The order can usually be picked up from Mepratuote Oy within 1-4 working days, and we will notify you by email or phone when the order is ready. Do not pick up products before notification.

When picking up your order, please take your order confirmation and proof of identity with you. Unless otherwise agreed, products will be kept in stock for 30 days. Pick-up is free of charge.

Postnord parcel and parcel machine

PostNord parcels are delivered to a pick-up point near the recipient in Finland, the Nordic countries and Europe.

In Finland and the Nordic countries, you can also choose to use a parcel machine. In Europe, deliveries are handled through the DPD network. For uncollected shipments, we charge shipping and return fees according to PostNord's price list.

The parcel is kept at the pick-up point or in a vending machine for the time specified by the carrier.

Postal parcel and parcel vending machines

In Finland, parcels are sent as Posti Economy parcels to a pick-up point or a parcel machine.

You will receive pick-up instructions by SMS when your parcel arrives. The shipment is a carbon-neutral Posti Green shipment and can be tracked with a tracking number. Take your ID with you when you pick up. Parcels are stored in service points and vending machines for 7 days.

For uncollected parcels, we charge shipping and return costs according to the price list.

DHL Economy Select package

Fast and reliable delivery to Europe, usually within 2-6 working days depending on the country. You'll receive advance notification and an SMS when your shipment arrives, and for more detailed country-specific instructions, visit the DHL website.

You can track your shipment via the DHL Tracking service.

DB Schenker freight

DB SChenker delivery is for large products such as engines and larger bow thrusters. Delivery throughout Europe.

DB Schenker will be displayed as a choice of delivery methods at checkout, depending on the weight or size of the product.

Delivery time
Products in our stock are usually dispatched within 1-3 working days of receiving your order. Product availability varies and some products may take longer to arrive. Availability information is always shown on the product's product card. If there is a delay in delivery, we will inform you immediately.

Delivery prices
The price of delivery depends on the total amount of the order, the delivery method chosen, the delivery address and the size of the shipment. The price is automatically updated according to the content of your order and will be displayed at checkout before payment.
