Max Power CT165 24V Electric Bow Thruster

The Max Power CT165 is a powerful 24V electric tunnel bow thruster designed specifically for 40–65-foot motorboats and motor yachts.

With two counter-rotating propellers, a 250-mm tunnel, and 185 kg (407 lb) of thrust, the CT165 provides powerful lateral thrust for controlled maneuvering in harbors and tight spaces.

The CT165 combines Max Power’s durable and virtually maintenance-free composite technology with a powerful 24 V DC motor and an advanced electronic control system. The result is a reliable and efficient bow thruster solution for demanding marine applications.

Powerful Twin-Propeller System

The CT165 uses a twin-propeller system that generates 185 kg (407 lb) of thrust.

Powerful lateral thrust makes it easier to maneuver the boat, for example, when docking, in tight harbors, and in challenging wind conditions.

The bow thruster operates on a 24-volt electrical system and has a rated power of 11.88 kW / 15.9 hv. The entire thruster unit weighs approximately 36 kg.

Maintenance-free composite drive shaft

One of the key advantages is the patented composite drive shaft. The drive shaft is designed for long-term use with minimal maintenance requirements. It is factory-filled with oil and sealed, and normally requires no maintenance or anode protection.

The composite construction also offers excellent corrosion resistance and reduces the risks of electrolysis and corrosion associated with metal drive shafts.

250 mm tunnel system

The CT165 is designed for use in a 250-mm-diameter tunnel. Max Power offers compatible GRP fiberglass tunnels with a 250-mm diameter in various lengths.
