The Yanmar 3JH40 is a modern, compact, and fuel-efficient 40 hp / 29.4 kW sailboat engine that offers reliable performance in demanding conditions. The engine is supplied with a Yanmar SD60 Saildrive, known for its robust design (2.49:1 ratio). The propeller is not included.
Cutting-edge Common-Rail technology The Yanmar 3JH40 utilizes the latest electronically controlled Common-Rail (CR) injection technology, which ensures: extremely low fuel consumption, low emissions, smooth and quiet running, reliable performance at all engine speeds, and a maximum engine speed of 3000 rpm, providing powerful torque.
Compact size - optimal even in tight engine compartments Thanks to its 3-cylinder and short-body design, the Yanmar 3JH40 is also suitable for smaller and shallow engine compartments. The design and dimensions facilitate installation and maintenance.
