NLP water traps feature a double chamber and a vertical pipe connecting the chambers. Compared to simple water traps (single chamber), NLP water traps provide more effective insulation against exhaust noise.<\/p>\n
The upper and lower sections of the water trap, as well as the hose connections, rotate 360\u00b0, which makes it easier to install the exhaust system in the often cramped engine room. The rotating inlet pipe connector is connected to the hose coming from the engine. The mixture of exhaust gas and water is forced from the lower chamber into the upper chamber and from there into the exhaust hose exiting through the outlet connector.
