NLP water traps feature a double chamber and a vertical pipe connecting the chambers. Compared to simple water traps (single chamber), NLP water traps provide more effective exhaust noise insulation. The upper and lower sections of the water trap, as well as the hose connections, rotate 360\u00b0, which makes it easier to install the exhaust pipe system in the often cramped engine room.

The rotating inlet pipe connector is connected to the hose coming from the engine. The mixture of exhaust gas and water is forced from the lower chamber into the upper chamber and from there into the exhaust hose leading out through the outlet connector.

The water lock comes with a drain plug for winter storage. The necessary fasteners for attaching the lock to the boat are also included in the package.

When the engine is turned off, it is important to
\nthat the water trap has sufficient capacity to prevent water from flowing back

If the engine is near the waterline or
\nbelow, the system requires a check valve to prevent water from
