The inline version of the PRM750 transmission is designed to directly replace the Velvet Drive 72C transmission. With the PRM MT5030 adapter flange, the total installation length of the marine clutch remains the same as that of the original 72C transmission. The gearbox is extremely durable and reliable; it is also equipped with a mechanical locking device in case of a hydraulic failure. In such a situation, the gearbox can be locked in the drive position, allowing the boat to be safely steered back to the harbor.<\/p>\n

Propeller thrust<\/span>a
Both forward and reverse propeller thrust is transmitted to the output shaft bearings. The force exerted on the bearings is sufficient for all power ratings approved by the manufacturer.
Propeller Free-Spinning<\/span>
The output shaft of the PRM750C marine transmission can be rotated continuously when the transmission is in neutral. For this reason, the propeller shaft brake is not needed, for example, when sailing.<\/p>\n
A special feature of the PRM750 is its direct-drive power take-off (PTO), which is available as an option.
