Aluminium or steel spotter?<\/strong>
\nBoats are often supplied with an aluminium propeller as standard. If you need a better
\nperformance, such as top speed and acceleration, you should consider a blade tractor.<\/p>\n

Good to consider when choosing a propeller<\/span>
Check the size of your current propeller. The propeller size is marked on the side of the propeller hub or on the end of the propeller hub. For example, 13 x 15, the first number is the diameter of the propeller and the second is the pitch in inches.<\/p>\n

A change in propeller pitch can increase or decrease the engine speed.
\nAn increase or decrease of two inches (2\") of lift usually affects the engine speed by about +- 300-400 rpm. Check the engine manufacturer's recommended rpm range for your outboard engine!<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

When an engine is purchased, it is often supplied with a propeller that is estimated to be suitable for as many engine\/boat combinations as possible. This propeller may not be the best choice in all cases.
