The impeller is an important safety product. One of its functions is to pump cooling water to the engine cooling system.
Remember that the impeller of a marine engine seawater pump should be replaced annually. Make sure you get an original SPX Johnson Pump Marine impeller, then you can be sure it will fit your pump perfectly. The Johnson 09-1028BT-1 impeller has a threaded hub for the 950-9304 extractor. The impeller replaces the 09-1028B
